Dead Man Walking

Open your eyes to her graciousness,
For all her time she has made yours,
Please don't leave her stranded again,
Else there will be more closed doors.

Can't you see what you are missing?
Or are you actually blind?
Soon her meter will expire,
This I hope you'll never find.

I can't bear to see this suffering,
In the wake of one lame heart.
For god's sake make her better,
Or our paths, they are going to part.

Is it something we have done,
That is the source of this tourment?
Your ignorance only helps me with,
This rotting picture of you I paint.

The tragedy of it is that nobody sees the look of desperation on my face. Thousands and thousands of us, and we're passing one another without a look of recognition.

***Enola,
Wow...this seems kind of different from your last postings somehow...it seems more anger-fuelled.
I hope that whoever this poem is aimed at takes notice soon...
Another fantastic posting.

mete out - thank you yet again, your on going support is fantastic.  Unfortunatly, the person /people that this is about, are never going to understand, which is why I'm so angry about it.
infinat3 sadn3ss - it is about who you think it is.
angelswing - me, nag you?  Never.  Coming from you, that last comment means a lot. Thanks.
