You

You
came
with love
and warmth
You jumped into
the tiny pool of love
stored within my heart
left there lonely, abused,
neglected and pulled apart.
Heated it through, and melted
down the blood dripping icicles.
Smoothed out all the Jagged edges
and hammered out the indentations
You polished the deep scratches
gave to me divine inspiration
and washed away the ashes
from burned interrogation
You cleansed my soul
filling me with light
with warmth and
joy, with hope
and with
Love.

Maree, you have done so well with this - including the flow...

And I envy your format - it is wonderful.

And these are the lines that get me:

You jumped into
the tiny pool of love
stored within my heart
left there lonely, abused,
neglected and pulled apart.

Well done sister mine.

You wrote this beautifully, and captured the true essence of the saving grace of true love.

Maree,
I am continually AMAZED at the way your words can not only sound wonderful, but LOOK wonderful as well. . .

This again reminds me of the Concrete poetry of the 60's and 70's. . .and the words are indeed from the heart. . .

Well put my friend. . .

It looks like a Christmas ornament
If you were talking about Jesus
Who shed His blood for us according to the bible
It would be an appropriate analogy
With the celebration of His birthday
Bringing inner peace and love in this world
You have the whole thing
Wrapped up in this meaningful poem

This is wonderful. It reminded me of a big waterdrop in it's presentation and very fitting for the poem
