A QUESTION OF LIFE
5/4/90

It's not that I am ungrateful
Or that I value not the
Gift given me
Sometimes I just have to stop
And ponder, as thoughts
Can sometimes wander:
Is this what was meant to be?
What does existence mean?
And who invented the definition?
Deep down we all strive
To live, with something more
To give;
To cure this mortal condition

so did you ever find the answers to these question my deep friend???...the queen of discontent would love to know them...
jm

 ...every moment of every day...
your still with me in every way.
every poem and song...
every rhyme and verse...
your still here...like a beautiful curse.

If there were answers...i would surely give them to you first, JM. But i think just like LIFE, those questions are rhetorical...

I guess we all ask those questions from time to time, I know I do. Great poem, JML!
