~  Fearful Burn ~

Words so sincere
lightly dusted with fear
Sprang forth like a well
from the torrents of dual Hell...

Two screams became one
words of love, now undone
What was truth, now called lies
Yet it comes as no surprise.

"Imbalance" was the cause
slaughtered in a moment's pause
There were problems deep inside
Neither Hell could dare try hide...

Time thought these two should be
yet the truth was yet to see
The souls weren't parallel
with eruption, they both fell.

Now the love displayed as lies
in their Hell, they close their eyes
Conquer first the doubts & fears
so that no one burns in tears...

Another piece true to your creative style.
"words of love, now undone".  Expressed so well, so sad.
Nice work.

yeah...I knew this one would flop, I almost didn't post it because I know no one likes this dark side of me any more than I do.  Thanks anyway PdV - you always have something nice to say to EVERYONE!....LOL.....And by golly, there's old Local Rebel!  Where the heck you been hiding sir?  I am honored you stopped by to spread a little kindness to this dreary post of mine!  LOL

Ah...and Danny - you snuck in here and posted while I wasn't looking!  Don't want to forget you!
Glad you got it, wasn't sure, 'twas a bit lengthy!

Never hiding Gen -- I'm always at www.geocities.com/nighthawke700/

lest we contrast the light and the dark -- the light has no meaning.. eh?

Does only a flame burn?  We know it to indeed be false. . .

Excellent work Femme. . . you always know how to express it. . .

Enjoyed the read, a sad subject but a great poem.

Yes, I admit your general rule. That every poet is a fool:
But I myself may serve to show it. That every fool is not a poet.
