Singing of feather
Trilling in warmth of the spring
Look! Out on the lawn!

Now it is time to all haiku.  Ah, spring, robins, hummingbirds, wonderful thoughts!
Thank-you, Marge.

Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.

Love it, Marge!

hehe. The first time I read it I didn't notice the exclamation mark after Look!....gave the poem a whole new meaning!

Springing forth with thoughts
Hummingbird on wing flutters.
Heartbeat away - Spring.

Parker~
Funny are the thoughts
Spring will bring to many men
Heart touched by woman.

Enchanting love thoughts
Blossom within the springing
Seeds of love winging.

Spring adorable
Thoughts are brought to precious bloom

Charms of Spring, spring forth
Renewing ancient legends
Nature awakens.

Spring of the heart's beat
Awakening thoughts of love
Welcome, heart of Spring.

I thought I new that little birdie stitting in the vine
Here i see the birdie again today
Telling me that you have send it out my way
Your poem is little like the bird above
For such nice poem I thank you so much my Dove

wow,i'm impressed--i especially like your 1st one cos i can just imagine this bird chirping away in my lawn, singing its song,as happy as it can be....

Having just introduced to Haiku, nevertheless,i can't seem to write anything worthwhile.here's the only thing i can come up with so far

Composing

My pen on my lips
My face scowling in a frown
Will I ever write?

i guess i'm rude to post this under your topic but i do want to share this with another Haiku fan.Haiku seems so simple yet your skill must be terrific to be able to indulge in it.Agreed?')

Spring does spring in thought
Eternally feathering

*Hi there.  What you see in my post
my first attempt at Haiku.  I think
it's done correctly, and if not then
someone more versed will surely let me know.

I do know that Haiku is originally a Japanese poetry style done in a syllabic standard of 5-7-5 ...
is supposed to be about nature or things
of wonder.

Keep studying the technique if it appeals to you.
I would suggest reading up on it a bit.
I was just inspired by a few that I saw here and plunged in
(after reading a few guidelines).

Good luck.  I'll play with it from time to time ... but my forte is rhyme.
Will look for yours in the future.
E-mail me if you want some help ...
but, believe me ... I'm a novice !

Wonderful, bright and cheery just like spring....I can't wait for the first day to burst into color and the earth to wake up from its winter slumber.
