Its just out of reach , the sparkling water , the juicy peach . Will it be forever ? , this agony , of having the things i need most , dangled in front of me . and i always find , in the back of my mind , the question... "what if this is as good as it gets" . foolish question , i know it is so maybe ill learn not to love the things , just beyond my reach . "all i wanna be , is washed out by the sea" |

Cabe, the fruit has realy bloomed for you, seems you kept reaching for long enough that it paid of and the sweatness of life has just fallen in to your hand . Hope it all goes well with Jamie . Tom . I agree with dsnyder, if you learn to be content with what you have, life does become better and it's easier to find what you want. Great poem - remember life (or you poetry) is not "as good as it gets". I think you have potential. Not that you're not good already. |
