My Choice

I greet the radiant
warmth
with a passion.
Feeling it softly
penetrate
the delicateness
of my face.
My choice of desire
is to comfortably
worship
what some say
may kill.
So I close my eyes
gently
and tilt my head
to face it
directly,
it may kill me
someday
but today it gave me
life.

This is great, Gloria! Hey, didn't you hear that now 'they' are saying that a little bit of sunbathing without sunscreen can actually produce a chemical in you that prevents skin cancer? So maybe it's not harmful after all!

Ahhhhhh !  With you I celebrate the rays.
Wonderfully warm upon my skin.

Yeah, rejuvenation.

This is wonderfull. The body does need some sunshine, contrary to what coppertone might say. Its been the giver of life for billions of years, it would have killed us off long ago if it was that bad. I say worship it un-protected, in moderation with minimal clothing or none at all (my choice).

I had my screen glowing today. It must have been you, because we only had hail and rain over here today
Good poem, as always

Everything in moderation...and there is nothing like a touch of sun to give a feeling of peace and hope...

This is really a smooth write.  I think some can take more sun than others...but some don't know when to get out of the heat and they look like they were baked in the oven.  James
