Move about your World On hollowed ground no soil can last Time waving winds, horrendous blast The eagle soars in circle way up there His call echo’s of mountains anywhere The bear the beaver all dead and gone What’s left cannot belong Where our fathers once sang their song A lonely desperado rides into the morn The Hunting grounds are empty and forlorn The feather once a mighty vitality Now lonely left as history So mighty was the warrior’s dream As he hunted down there at the clear stream On hollowed ground, his calling just a recoil A warrior once tossed up the soil A soil reach filled with life A freedom worth to strife The iron horse brought misery On hollowed ground he cannot see He feels a lonely deepened fear His face hollow covered a tear Many had to die so long ago His heart is heavy but even so His head proudly towards the sky Is his way to lowly die Deep he draws his last breath of toil Before the last of his kind Dies on Hollowed Soil The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. |

My brother joined a Native Canadian Tribe It took him a couple years to complete all the requirements He enjoyed every minute of it and has made more friends than you can imagine Native Peoples have a beautiful culture and all kinds of activities for everyone to attend and discover more about them I have become friends with many Natives myself and they are true blue without a doubt Hat's off to your poem Helmut Rex}<{{{{o> |
