Senryu (Sen-ree-yoo) is a three-lined unrhymed Japanese poetic form structurally similar to the Haiku, but dealing with human rather than physical nature, usually in an ironic or satirical vein.

Senryu 5-7-5

A thousand mistakes
is but life's education
along wisdom's way

Oops....if I had read 5-7-5 first I would had known what Senryu meant.
Anyway, I like these short poems.  Such wisdom to behold.
