A Kiss

Thunder in the mind
madness engulfs the body
wanton lips shall meet.

I don't know if this is true to the haiku form of 5-7-5, and whatever other rules apply, but its fun to write.

I liked this. I do not know much about haiku either but it sounds right. You inspired me to try one.

WELL DONE!  I enjoy Haiku and am glad to see others practicing the style. Your form is just right by me.  You will find that english poets often stray from the classical 5-7-5 format.  However you choose to do it...the real challange is to pack as much meaning into as few words as possible.

Again.....WELL DONE!

Hiya Parker...I like, I like very much, I'm a fan of Haiku myself!

Love came spring morning,
rain sang in tune with thunder,
found this kiss waiting.

Seymour and KitKat, thank you, their fun to write.

Rex.... sometimes the best kiss, is the first date kiss, or maybe its the challange of the first date kiss.

INclan, yes meaning, packs and packs of meaning...... thanks.

Corinne, waiting and longing....

I think you have started a trend, dear.
Inspiration is thy name:

Honeysuckle red
Nestled in creamy crocus
Wating for the "bee"

I don't know if honeysuckle can be red, but it fit, so oh well!
Write more, we love it!

as a member of the opposite sex who just melts with a deep sensuous kiss, I must say (on good authority) that this descibes it perfectly!
