They know where I am!

Glimmering Glow

Somewhere,
somehow yesterday
this nurse
let down her guard
and in walked
a sense of pride.
She chased
and chased away
the shadows
of herself revealed
from the object
of her desire.
The sight
was not a pretty one
for invisible
she seemed to be
as one more beautiful
in nature
blocked out her
glimmering glow.
Now
she turns to leave
real slowly
as the glimmer
that never was real
glows
within her illusional mind,
and the world
of reality
but a nightcap
away.

My Lady White
This one is not with out heart
To see what could have been
Had you the flame
To light the wick
Of my soul.
But I burn by another's touch
Who's light outshines all others
Before my eyes
And my heart.
My Lady White
I beseech thee
Do not douse your own light
For mine are but one set of eyes
And where they are blind to your glow
There is another
who will know
who will see
who will feel
Beauty
Love
And Life
By its flame

My crayons of love I offered free
if only in your arms
you could've simply cradled me.

Now in darkness of empty nights
candles melted
my soul begone of colorful sights.

In the illumination of your soul
lies the crayons
as with them my heart you stole.

Tomorrow's light may shine on you
brightly as such
but for me it's lost in love's curfew.

NurseC~
I liked this a lot.
Both of them were longingly presented.

'Tomorrow's light may shine on you
brightly as such
but for me it's lost in love's curfew.'

Brilliant !
