I do not carry your picture in my wallet,
for i keep the memoriesinmy heart for a later date.
I use this cliche to prove a point,
loves like this will last the test of time.

I fear the world and the circumstances that surround me,
I loathe the world and the circumstances that entrap me.
I feel like a pawn being useless and dispensable,
i want to be with you, near and presentable

But now ive changed, gone is the love you took away,
its your fault and i now i hate the feeling in every way.
you dont appeal to me so much anymore,
i am stronger,yet what will i do at the next loves shore.

I don't cry no more at the sadness i felt,
it was wrong, i am no longer in debt,
Yet, sometimes i wish it would be the same,
And altogether, it was alla wishful aim.

This poem struck a chord with me....so many emotions caught up within it.
A very eloquent portrayal of how it feels when we have lost love.
