I'VE NEVER ASKED YOU FOR ANYTHING
AND NOW THAT I DO
IT SEEMS TO BE
I CAN'T GET IT FROM YOU
I NEVER ASKED YOU TO LOVE ME
OR EVEN TO SAY THAT YOU DO
I NEVER ASKED YOU TO CARE ABOUT ME
THE WAY I CARE ABOUT YOU
I NEVER ASKED YOU TO LISTEN TO ME
OR TO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU PUT ME THROUGH
I NEVER ASKED YOU TO HOLD ME
EVEN THOUGH IT WOULD BE A DREAM COME TRUE
I NEVER ASKED YOU TO TALK TO ME
YOU JUST STARTED TO
I NEVER ASKED YOU TO FORGET
ALL THE STUFF I DID AND SAID TO YOU
WHAT I'M ASKIN YOU FOR NOW
REALLY AINT THAT HARD TO DO
THE ONLY THING I'M ASKING
IS FOR YOU TO BE TRUE
JUST TELL ME THE TRUTH
THATS ALL I'M ASKING FROM YOU
DON'T YOU KNOW THAT LYING TO ME

This poem struck me hard...
I loved the way it careered through my head, wonderfully written, it's just so sad that it is from a negative standpoint.

thanks you two. mete out i will try to keep fighting but it gets hard sometimes. james: it seems like they never end huh.
