Alrighty then. How gentle and alluring and sensual this poem is. I only envy the one it is written for. I loved this, and it is so succint. Oh my! You've all made me blush in turn. Thank you so very much for your kindness of word... your responses are the coin of the realm, valued greatly in my heart. I'd like to offer some personal insight on this one if I may. This piece is written from the perspective of a bard to his favored "instrument", the lute. His "first love" if you will. And certain parts of the lute, the distant cousin to the guitar, are known as the "face", "neck", and "body." His caress across the strings makes her sing the song in his heart. The soul he touches... whom ever should hear. And then again... Once more, thank you all! |
