               I'll not insist

You think there is no plan that be?
And that there is no God to see?
All options of the human mind?
Then dwell upon the next few lines.

Look upon the clouds on high,
See perfection in the sky.
Feel the sun, the rain, the snow,
What else would you like to know?

Look upon the fields and trees.
And how they fill our every need.
Fruit and grain in constant flow,
What else would you like to know?

Breath the air, digest the sea,
Both of which a vital key.
Feel the virile that you sew,
What else would you like to know?

Think upon the reason why,
The logic why you still deny.
You say that God does not exist?
Well that may be, I'll not insist.

But if you feel alone some day?
He will hear what ever you say.

He does always listen to what we have to say doesn't he? Even when no one else will at times.

Sy,
Well, my friend it seems that God
Has walked upon the steps you plod
And left behind in footprint's place
The bounty of His heavenly grace
For here you have in rich profuse
The product of your Heavenly Muse
Wonderful poem, well written
I love it

"...I was ever with you, even when you weren't with Me ..."

Well put, Seymour.  I always enjoy your verse and your insight.

Full fathom five thy father lies,
Of his bones are coral made,
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange...

So true are your words Sy...without a doubt, when one is in need, believing or not, they still turn to God. No need to insist with me!!!

I only wish I people were half as forgiving as God, Sy.  He always listens - even after our worst betrayal...and He always forgives the true in heart...Beautiful poem.

Funny how people try to complicate this question, isn't it..

You've simplified it for us, Sy... This is awesome..

Seymour~
What a lovely thoughts.
He would hear from me ...
that I love His rolling sea
His fields
His trees
His rain
His sun
His clouds in sky that float right by
His fruit and grain
and other things
that I might miss
if ... if
He did not insist !

Thank you, Seymour.

You write so well. What a lovely poem. I can't help but think of the "footprints" poem that was written. when you see no footprints it was because it was then that he was carrying me...Love all..Patty

Seymour you have touched my heart.  There were many days when I felt totally alone and yes my heavenly father was loving me even as I felt lonely and unloved.   One of the most precious blessings we have ever been given...is our heavenly father and the son he has given.    James

Excellent and inspiring work, Seymour. The way you provide both question and answer with this piece is nice.

Beautiful simplicity with a refreshing answer that is there should we feel the desire to ask.  "For with God nothing shall be impossible" You have re-opened my eyes to the Glory of God.  Thank you for the reminder, God has blessed you with a Gift, thank you for sharing it.
