They know where I am!

Candles Wax Slowly Melting

Candles burning sweet fragrances
you walk through slamming the door
not a word spoken only a glance
so much for a night of romance.

Candles flicker gone not forgotten
as I leave through slamming the door
the stars shining calling my name
a silent world waiting for me to frame.

Candles illusion of sweet delight
uncaged a wild desire for only you
yet as the door slammed shut
I designed myself a positive strut.

Candles wax slowly melting apart
crayons colors seeping together
Nurse Crachet returns with a smile
knowing she's walked a very long mile.

We've played our game hard
Where harsh lines have been drawn
You wearing your stark white
Where no color is don

When dances were wished for
Many partners you had
Except for the one that
Would have made your heart glad

The Lady dressed in Red
Has stolen your true want
Now through the 'Stute's halls
Your ghost of love does haunt

Moaning a desire
That cannot be fulfilled
Walking the long mile
In hopes it will be killed

I thought I walked that long mile
came back with honest smile
now my illusions are on fire
cause in truth you I admire.
Where do I safely turn
when it's you I yearn?
My heart is your candle melting,
crayons rainbow colors unbelting.
Unleash your wrath of love
as to you I will flutter like a dove.

As this Nurse sat and pondered a bit:

The stute walls speak your name
they cry out loud my shame
when did you steal all of me?
I cry for you to let me free
from your waxed chains that haunt,
for all you care to do is taunt
until I no further can survive
will that make you feel more alive?

Lady in White
I hear your pain
Ghostly echos
Of love in disdain

Walking the halls
in search of hues
Colors of love
That I refuse

Sound not for me
This heart is deaf
For Red it's bled
I've nothing left

Walk your mile
Than walk some more
For you this heart
It has no door

I understand your devotion
no need to make a commotion,
can I help that you drew yourself
into a colorful object of affection in itself?
I watched everyday as with your crayons you drew
all the colors flowing together to make a beautiful hue.
A personality of colors bursting into a rainbow around me,
I thought I found the pot of flowing gold I always thought to be.
Instead your crayons were drawing for another lady I couldn't be,
as my tears weep sadness in colors of the rainbow I shall want no more
for I tried to pleasantly knock upon your invisible no longer able to access door.

Martie, Thank you for reading and enjoying, we do all in fun.
