I Knew Love
~*Marge Tindal*~

Only by having known love,
can we know when it is gone.
It's such a sad refrain when
one no longer sings our song.

Grasp for just one moment,
the memories that fill your eyes.
If your tears fall for someone
who passed and touched your heart,
then love has done what it must do
when sometimes it does part.

The love of yesterday,
that vanishes on the morrow,
leaves tears that fall
surely to dilute the sorrow.

Love does not die
but is reborn
with the rising sun
of a new morn.

If all the days of loving
were placed here end to end,
I'd sigh just to know
that I knew love
because it entered in.
Even though it did not stay,
I'd welcome the chance
I took to say
to someone
anyone
I loved you.

Oh Beautiful Marge!!

If all the days of loving
were placed here end to end,
I'd sigh just to know
that I knew love
because it entered in.
Even though it did not stay,
I'd welcome the chance
I took to say
to someone

I loved you.

Just Beautiful!!

Thank you Marge

You know sometimes you think your glass is full and you feel content....but in fact the glass if far to empty....Because you find that someone who has more than enough ( so much that they share with you)
And they fill your glass with that of thier own and in that you find that you can hold so much more......and only after they are gone do you really know how empty you really are.  And then you know too how much you lack.

They say " I would rather loved than lost than never to have loved at all."

I suppose I disagree...Because you never miss what you never had.  Ignorance can be bliss.

Thank you again Marge

David~
Great big *HUGS*
Hon, I rather like the idea of
a plate of appetizers ...
I wouldn't know I liked it
if I hadn't tried it.
Once I found that I did ...
I'd go back for more.

David, ignorance is never bliss.
I know you know that.
Keep writing, for I want to see
that smile come again.
Love ya' ~*Marge*~

Marge, You are like a microwave, you insert the item that needs warming, push a button and out pops the carefully crafted creation needed to nourish those you care about. Great job again Marge.

~marge

excellent piece you wrote here! And I couldn't agree with you more. I'd rather have had love and it go away, than never to have loved at all. And each tommorrow is different than today. Like you said, just to be able to tell someone you love them..is an honor. Many thanks to you for reminding us all, just how important love is and what it can do for us. You are a beautiful writer.

take care,
Amy

Marge--what a wonderful poem!  You say it and I think, that's right, cause you are.
