each and every time
----------------------------

are you just a dream
that enters my mind
a sweetness so sublime

when i'm rushing to and fro
you sit in the background
of the very front row

my lips have spoken for you
when you could not
and listened as you talked

in the darkness when I dream
are you there love...
are you there beneath the rain

your a shadow in my thoughts
i've touched you,  though i have not
and my finger tips have loved you
each and every time

Parker, so delicate and tender and just beyond one's grasp...I know this feeling well, I think. This is beautifully written.

James: Another perfect poem...I like the simple message you are able to communicate so easily.  I really like the second verse the best.

this is beautiful...i really enjoyed this...and Claire said it perfectly...
it is delicate...like a whisper...very nice work.jm

You're going to hear my voice in the morning calling your name
And know my love and my desperation were one and the same...
Baby it's alright...
Take this pain and all this sadness
It's alright
Take this rain
You're going to be free...

Corinne, I bow to a kindred spirit. This piece just wrote itself, I just lended my finger tips.

Janet Marie, thank you, it was just in my mind.

Denise, you snuck in there while I was replying... thank you.

Like you need anymore replies here, but I just couldn't read this and NOT reply!  This whispers to me in a voice so subtle, I tremble inside.  How do you do it?  "Are you there beneath the rain?"  What a line!  I am here beneath your rain, call me Jane...LOL       You've inspired me to write something along that line now!  (grabbing pencil!)  Thanks so much!  Be right back!  (dashing off - naked, into the rain!)

Your words are like the the first snowflakes of the year, beautiful, delicate and cherished because they are not the only ones you will see but they are the ones most remembered and most enjoyed.  You have an amazing gift thank you for giving it to us to share.

thank you for reading.

A Romantic Heart, thank your.
U.K. Hero........ thank you too.

Girls running around naked in the rain, flashing my poem, what is the world coming to. Thanks poetFemmeFatale... hey it said you'd be back.

Martie, and I echo's my thanks thanks thanks
to you, sweet poet.

Butterflies_dont_cry, your name reminds me of a poem I wrote a long time ago....

Just for you and butterflies do cry........

Pink Butterfly
-----------------
I remember from my earily teens
The sadness of a lovely dream
A girl I loved was soon to leave
and embark upon her destiny.

On this silvery moonlit night
A misty glow just seem to light
As we kissed our last goodbye
She became a lovely Pink Butterfly.

Parker........ I smile therefore I am.
