Change can come on tiptoe
love is where it starts
It resides often hides
deep within our hearts

Just as pebbles make a mountain
raindrops make a sea
one day at a time
is how it will always be

Ordinary miracles
happen all around
by giving and receiving
comes belonging and believing

Every sun that rises
never rose before
each new day leads the way
through a different door

We can all be quiet heroes
living quiet days
walking through the world
changing it in quiet ways

Ordinary miracles
like candles in the dark
each and every one of us
lights a unique spark

The walls can tumble
as mountains we will move
winds and tide can turn
strength of love is proof

One for every star
lightning bolt or thunder
endless possibilities
bringing joy and sense of wonder

Hope can spring eternally
as a miracle multiplies
give it and it grows
right before our eyes

Rainbow arcs across the sky
as sun radiates with pleasure
release of rain equals pain
love knows no other measure...

Live in my heart and pay no rent...

WOW! This is great, Cindy. "Every sun that rises never rose before...." Wonderful words here. I know for sure there is no other Rainbow like the one we have here!

Oh, my ! RainbowGirl~

Your muses worked you overtime on this one.
Oh, my !

'Every sun that rises
never rose before
each new day leads the way
through a different door'

Each and every verse ... sheer beauty.
You've captured perfection.
It is the best of the best.

Bravo!  When I read this, I hear a soothing voice whispering the words to me.  Poems that calm me like this come just rarely as sleep to me.

Loved these lines....

Rainbow arcs across the sky
as sun radiates with pleasure
release of rain equals pain
love knows no other measure...

wow ! ... you've outdone yourself Rainbow ... this is a masterpiece ...

ps : when I saw the title I thought the whole poem would be in French ...

Plaisir d'amour ne dure qu'un moment,
Chagrin d'amour dure toute la vie.

Cindy,
Each verse is a jewel, a poem unto itself, a universal truth. It makes me wonder what inspires one to write so beautiful a verse at any given moment. This just seems to pour so readily from your heart.
Wonderful, Cindy

Bless you all..

Liz asked what the thoughts were behind it well it was thinking about all the special people in my life and the different strengths they give me, the encouragement and their time but most importantly - their love..

HUGS all
