*VACATION* The Working man has taken wing, Soaring high, his heart to sing, A new Adventure, sights to see, From the burdens of life, a pause to be FREE! What will he do, Where will he go? This is unimportant you know. He calls the shots, at his own ease, No boss in sight he now has to please! FLY, FLY, go with the wind, (Not that you need them)My blessings I send. Redeem these brief moments,they fly by so fast, Enjoy, Enjoy and make them all Last. Poetry is the expression of thoughts which awake the higher and nobler emotions, or their opposites, with words arranged to some accepted convention.........or maybe not! Dennis :^) |
