within a whisper...

If I could smell the dafidils
And run amond the whiper-wills

And remember any childhood thrills
And watch the stars beyond the hills

And sit upon my window-sill
As the wind to the trees kneel,

Holding the breath of remembrance still,
I would at last know the feel

Of experiencing joy and zeal-
Knowing living is God's will.

One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.
-William Shakespeare

Thanks again. I couldn't sleep, and couldn't get the thought out of my mind.

"If", indeed.  I liked this one, angel, for it's simplicity and intricate meaning.  I wish it was so easy to release the details of my adult life and appreciate my reason for being much more than I do.
