Little Bears all in a row
Is the picture I see
When I think of you
Trinkets collected
From loved ones
You kept them all
Eggs of marble
Paper cranes
All those things
We'd make and frame
I remember the cuddles
You would give
When home we would bring
The newest creation we'd made
Up on the mantle you'd sit it
Along with the others before it
Treasures in time
Our childhood in different forms
The kisses we'd get
You were so proud
You gave us the best start
Now out in the world for ourselves
Dealing with everyday things
I will never forget the love
I felt being part of you
Mum you are a great friend
Over time Ive learnt this
But now I know
I treasure it so

Just wonderful, Whisky - it is truthful too.

Whiskey what a beautiful poem for your mum   here's one I wrote for mine which I think you'd appreciate...tracie

A friend is someone who doesn't judge you
A friend will always see you through

The good, the bad, happy and sad
They will always lend a hand

Friends make us laugh, show us a good time
Their always there to say things are fine

Thank god for friends, we all need one
And I've got one in you
Thanks Mum

The best treasures of all are those memories...they only come once and when you can share them....they only get better.  Grace to  you and your mother Wiskey.  You have done a great job with this.
