Denise, I read this one when it was first posted, but now reading it again, I see that I didn't comment on it (must have gotten interrupted) so now I'll tell you what a lovely poem this is. I was so amazed at the gardens in Charleston, as small as some of them were, they were exquisite. I came home and started planting like crazy, but my large yard still looks barren. But spring is almost here, and time to plant again. This was a beautiful little scene you portrayed. I hope when the weather gets nice, you'll come over and visit
Love

Thank you, Elizabeth! I'm glad you liked it! I have a tiny yard, probably like the ones in Charleston...I'm still working on the exquisite, though! But it is still my paradise in the midst of the city! I can't wait 'till the spring flowers are in the shops! I can't wait to visit your home, too. That will be a real treat!

Denise, this is beautiful, I'm sure the actual site of your garden is stunning, how far did we figure I live from you? I see neat little things popping up in our yard can't wait to see natures surprises we will have, since we moved in winter we haven't a clue.

Denise
I'm still dreaming on here
You have painted a picture so well
The hot chocolate i can smell
Or perhaps a light glass of wine
Would go anlong well with such divine

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Thank you, Gloria, Parker and Helmut for reading and for your kind comments!! I'm glad you all liked it!

Gloria, I guess about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Come on up!! Stop by on your next trip North!!

Parker, Summer is great too, as long as I have air conditioning when it gets too humid!

Helmut, I'll have a glass of Asti Spumante, please!

We already knew you were down to earth!
The landscaper in me really appreciates this.
I hope you are an organic gardner.
Through my business I've met so many people who pride themselves on their beautiful gardens and how in touch with nature they are as they SPREAD THE CHEMICALS.

Thank you, Paul! I'm glad you liked it. No, I don't use chemicals. I just let the bugs munch to their hearts content! LOL
