An Angel on Earth Looking out into the vast black sky One by one they appear like diamonds on a black satin sheet Stars... They sparkle above us, as if to say...you are not alone In the darkness, I hear the sound of your voice A warm breeze flows all around me putting me at peace Time is supsended, the Earth stands still But it's only my imagination, a illusion of my mind For you are not there, just images replaying of a former time Then I once again look up into the heavens A ray of light decends upon me, and I am surrounded by its brightness And there you are, a beautiful angel with wings of gold I look again, but you are gone Was it reality or was it just my mind playing tricks on me? ~Live today as though it were your last but prepare for tomorrow as though it were here~ |

Amy it does not matter whether it is our imagination or not as long as it makes us feel at ease and gives us hope that our loved one's are looking down on us and guiding us. I like to believe thay are each and everyone of them the bright stars in the night....lovely poem  tracie. Sweet name you have to, my daughters name is Amy  |
