Lucky~
You always sneak in a line or two that grabs me ... this one did

'tape player was yet to be a dream
invented when lovers would sit draped over
each other in back seats listening to their own tunes'

How far we've come ... and have yet to go.
Wonderful, fellow.

This brings back such memories for me!  My father was a printer, and I too, remember those old presses.  At eight, I loved visiting his work, watching his careful movements, like a sort of ballet, enjoying the scent of the ink, and the sound of the slapping presses.  Boy, did he love those presses.
I remember so many of these things - and I thank you for helping preserve them - in your own inimitable style!
