Helmut...thank you for being such a dear friend, you have always been and still remain a great source of strength and inspiration.
Hugs and Love always
Ruth

His Masterpiece (For You Helmut)

"A piece of art," he says;
perhaps God's unfinished masterpiece
left to sit another day
until he is inspired
to once more create
tranquillity from this chaos
that is my life.

"A work of art," he tells me;
and yet I sit
unfinished,
untouched,
unnoticed
waiting to be complete.

"A WONDER!," he shouts;
and I gaze
into his eyes
trying to see myself
from his point of view
still unable to see
what makes him think this
of me.

"A masterpiece," he whispers
and I look
into his heart
and for the first time
see
my worth.

 Have you ever noticed
That the words...
"Goodbye"
"I'm sorry"
"I love you"
Are so easy to pronounce
...Yet so hard to say
~Javan

OH! How sweet...Helmut is both a talented poet and artist..that he sees you as a work of art is not surprising Ruth...

Ok
I read and read again
I smile and smile again
Speechless yes it's what I am
Thinking, blushing this is for me
Why does she thinks so highly here of me
I'm only one with a big heart
The one that saw her lovely Art
Ruth, Thank you first...before I say
I wouldn't want you any other way
Remember what I send to you
A long, long time ago too

Part of Desiderata
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Thank you Ruth for your thoughts and feelings towards me. You have also be an inspiration and a support to me. For that I thank you. A candle is burning here in my heart for you.
Hugs and Love, always
Helmut

To all of you that have replied Thank you for your kind words. Love you all so deeply and now I gotta run for the Kleenex box.

Now to the poem itself
You seem to out do yourself every time you write a piece.
This is written as I would have said it
Beautiful,...is just not touching it.
