Joy Beyond Compare ~Marge Tindal~ May this day find you happy and serene. No two-ways about it, nothing inbetween. Just a little joy, just one simple smile. Joy beyond compare to stay with you a while. If the joy you find is more than enough for you, share some with a friend, so they will have some too. A boy, a girl it matters not you see, just spread that joy around, even send some to me. I'll treasure it just knowing that it came from you. I'll send it on to a friend who may be feeling blue. The next thing you know you'll find it coming back, just at the moment when some joy you may lack. That's the joy of joy shared it never has an end. I love the message of this one, Marge! It's something we forget to do, even if we are happy, we don't always share it, or we find reasons to push it aside. I must worry about this, or I must concentrate on that. Where are our sense of priorities as adults, I wonder? Ever notice when children are stressed or worried, they worry only in small chunks at a time, then they set it aside and go play a game??? That's what this poem makes me think of... Corinne |
