I Am But The Sculptor's Clay
~Marge Tindal~

By now I know
I'm not infallible.
My emotions raw,
my feelings malleable.

Feeling like I've been putty
in the hands of a friend.
Shaped and pulled
in all directions
seeking now
my true reflection.

Bold new colors
do I see
when plied and shaped
with hands so soft,
working their magic on me.

The sculptor of my being
very much in control.
The shape that I've taken,
no longer out of control.

Fingerprints,
you've left behind
shaped and carved
upon my mind.

It might be nice to be a sculptors's clay, depending on who the artist is.
Wonderful little poem, but Marge, no one can mold you into anyone but who you are, nor would they want to

Sometimes we curve to the need of another and loose ourselves, but only momentarily.  No one can change the core of who we are.

The sculptor of my being
very much in control.
The shape that I've taken,
no longer out of control.

Wonderful poem!

The Sculptor has much work to do on me, Marge, I'm one tough piece of clay to mold.  What a wonderful analogy.  Good poem.

Well, Marge, you needn't be perplexed
I know you're really statuesque
I have no doubt that you've been told
When they made you they broke the mold
I feel that I would have it all
If your bust were on my pedestal!

Elizabeth, my friend~
You're a sweetie.

Martie~
You are right !  I am ME !
BUT, I've had help from the sculptor.

Michael~
Sweetheart, the Sculptor just isn't
finished with you yet ...
you'll end up a Masterpiece !

Balladeer~
Oh, they threw away the mold alright !
You are incorrigible !
(and I love it !)
I'll settle for the front seat of the Mercedes.  Tee Hee !

Hoot~
Thanks, girlfriend !

This is great, I wonder if were ever done being sculpted, seems there's always another detail that could be added to enhance the outcome and benefit others.

JanetMarie~
Thank you so much for that lovely compliment.
Gosh, don't let a few replies ahead of you keep you from letting me know if something I write touches you in some way.
I definitely reply more than I write.
The works of others give me so much inspiration.

I write from my heart and am eternally thankful that my messages reach other hearts.
Again, I thank you.

LostDreamer~
Well, I think you hit on an interesting point.  I doubt the sculptor is ever through with us.  At least I hope not.
I am touched my the hands of many and so far no one has 'baked' me.
Now that might be the pits ! LOL !

Beautiful
But who am I telling here
