Tender is the storm-
That heals a wounded soul,
Painstaking is the task-
That makes a person whole.

Courageous is the heart-
That fights the sleeting rain,
To find that wounded soul-
And take away the pain.

Patient is the hand-
That soothes a worried brow,
Forgives of past mistakes-
Teaches only here and now.

Trust is the key-
To strong internal mending,
Tenderly Courageous, Patiently Trusting-
Unwavering, Unbending.

Open arms can be the most fragile in the world...

Lovely and tender words once again, devina.
Your work bespeaks a tranquil, crystal-clear
soul.  Always leaves me feeling peaceful.
Surely you ARE a healer.

Devina,

This is sensational! I had a wonderful day here in North Carolina today, and this only made it that much better. Dear friend, thank you for sharing. You truly do have a gift!

Devina, this poem is inspiring, beautiful and perfect.  Thank you for writing this, maybe it's time I try to heal. I printed your poem out, so when I have bad days all I have to do is read it to lift me up. You have a great talent.

Take care,

Devina~
I just love this.
The format is perfect.
The content is awesome.
The flow works.
Gosh, I think I love it more
than I thought I did.
Your 'better' is coming, hon.
I promise.

Pure Magic in your words, devina.  How blessed one would be to have such healing in their life.  The last two lines spoke loudly for me.  Beautiful.

Devina, so tender is the storm, indeed, that helps one to heal in the way you've expressed with this piece. Wonderful work.
