Gotcha' ~Marge Tindal~ When you lay down at night and sleep won't come because I'm not there to hold you When you've a secret to tell and my ear is the first you whisper it in When you gaze into the night wishing upon a star for me to come true When all pretense falls away and you share your tears with me When you want someone to share your dreams you reach for my hand When friends fall but friendships don't you help me to my feet When you awaken and want me more than that first cup of coffee gotcha' ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

This was really cute Marge!!!! Loved the suspense...I thought about adding some naughtiness to your poem ( not that it ever happened with one of mine!!) but there's no way to corrupt this one...it seems innocently loving!!!
