This Minutes Captured View

Just
a piece
   of sunshine
slanted in
this door of glass
to warm the teal carpet
with streaks of window pane
and patterned leaf shadows
that danced in teasing movement

Puppy chase phantom foliage
in vaulted joyful game
before a cloud killed her prey
the sway for tiny dog
to drowned in all that light
and lay full out with body splayed
mild and devoid of scamper
and smiling slide her eyes
beneath her paw and droop of ear

Then from the feeder
with wings accelerated
a mid air knight
with trusty spear
frenzy     fortified
      while
Just
a piece
   of sunshine
slanted in
this door of glass
to warm the teal carpet
and its Precious sun-drenched warrior

< !signature-->

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.
(ee cummings)

Martie, you take the simplest scene and turn it into a beautiful descriptive passage and a picture that all of us who have had a puppy recognize. You have magical words , Martie
