As she asked me please
I fell to my knees
A forgotten man

I have traveled the seas
Of false securities
Reaching out my hand

To break these chains
That have still remained
They always do

But here comes the pain
With the falling rain
It’s nothing new

Now, there’s a new wind blowing
The haze is clearing
A new revelation

Like a fire showing
The flames I’m fearing,
That old temptation

And for a moment all is still
Except for my wavering will
An absence of sound

I dare not leave until,
Of her, I get my fill
And sink softly to the ground

Waiting for the sun to rise
And shed light on my tired eyes
To begin once again

The journey I so despise
Her name whispers around me
As it flies,

Upon the Eastern wind

that have never been touched...
there are places inside our hearts...
that need to be loved this much...
