there's a slow song playing and we begin to dance
a feeling comes over me, a feeling of romance
your body's against mine and we sway side to side
there's no need for words, but nothing to hide
you press your forehead up against mine
i look in your eyes, look for a sign
i become dimly aware of my hands on your hips
but at the moment, all i see is your lips
suddenly the music fades out in the distance
if there are others around, i know not their existance
i lean in, and finally my lips meet yours
my mind is cleared, but my adrenaline soars
time passes, who knows how long
in your arms, i feel like i belong
like all good things, this kiss must end
but i'll never be the same person again
and you may not believe me, but i swear that it's true
no matter what happens, i'll always love you
