The still water silenced me, taking me back to a place far away A place so long ago, a place I could not say I am a part of a time with no beginning and now no end A lost time, a time I could not lend Send me back Set me free Send me home again Take me with you Help me out Take away my pain I long for a time and place where everything is as it seems A time of loving memories of rainbows and sunbeams A place where the birds fly free and all creatures are at peace Take me back I beg of you, take me halfway at least Halfway would do for now Take me back Please Somehow [This message has been edited by tracie66 (edited 02-24-2000).] |

I like this poem, sometimes we'd give anything to go to that peaceful place when things go haywire. But is heaven right her on earth? Something to think about!!!  |
