I USE TO CRY
EVERYNIGHT
I'D LAY IN BED
HOLDIN MY PILLOW TIGHT.
I'D CRY SO HARD
I COULD BARELY BREATH.
YOU WERE BREAKING MY HEART
BUT I COULDN'T LEAVE.
LAST NIGHT YOU SAID YOU LOVE HER.
THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW.
WHEN YOU SAID THEM WORDS
I FELT MY HEART FALL.
I DIDN'T CRY THEN
BUT THIS MORNING A TEAR FELL.
JUST LIKE THAT
I ESCAPED FROM YOUR EVIL SPELL!
IT'S OVER NOW
NO YOU AND ME.
YOU "LOVE" HER
SO I LET YOU BE.
THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU WANT?
YOU COULDA FOOLED ME.
JUST LEAVE ME ALONE
AND LET ME BE!!!!

I feel your pain completely, the last cry is the hardest of them all. But when that last cry is let out it wipes away the things that keeps you from being able to let go of love and reveals all. sorry about the rhyme (did not mean to do that) I love this poem for what it means to me and keep that pen going i will be looking foward to reading some more of your work.
