Locked in an embrace
Limbs here and there
Moving in intimate rhythm...

Fingers exploring coastlines
roaming peaks and valleys
mountains shifting against plains
in pleasurable tremors...

Casting steamy glances
foreheads meet in a salty kiss
as their eyes lock
trembling lips inches apart …

A trickle down her nape
his tongue yearns to steal
Pulling her against him
hard contours to pliant softness...

They move together
swaying a lovers dance
Hearts pounding
erotic rhythms…

Slowing reluctantly
as their song ends
Lingering gentle release
breathing eases to normal…

Strangers on a dance floor
they drift away from each other
their moment of sweet rhythm
already forgotten
as they scan the shadows
for a new partner

before the next dance begins...

 I love the time
and in between
the calm inside me
in the space
where I can breathe...

Wow, At first I thought this was posted in the wrong forum, and it turns out to just be a dance, but what a dance.

I guess the beginning IS a bit misleading...Hehe~

But I was thinking about that the other night...while out...watching all the folks dancing...passing each other around...
Dancing can be so intimate....and I kind of likened it to a relationship...and how partners come and go...

Thank you everyone!

I agree with Martie. You've talked me into it Breathe. You did have me on quite a different track for a munite there. But you captured the intamacy of a dance perfectly. Will be looking for more of your work.

Very nice.  Slow dances can be very erotic.  James
