I have lost my dog's respect

The dog in my room
is queasy with foul temper
indicating with pain filled eyes
that I forced him to do this

I stoop to my task
wiping with a dirty T-shirt
the cost of my woeful neglect
his eyes looking down upon me

I have learned well my lesson
behaving badly while cooking
allowing his eyes to shame me
to part with the chickens fat

lost is my soul
to the demons of regret
as I will never regain
the respect of my dog

hehe Dogs will certainly let you know when they're ticked off at you! LOL Isn't it funny? It's worse than losing a best human friend! All you can do, is try to reason with him....
