Taste it < !signature-->lick my burning face shake walls that bleed your name when I lie at dawn waiting for dusk I smell the musk that comes in from the outside to discover the inside rattle my bones with drum & snare make love like whiskey chasing down south with limes and lemons clenching to tongues as salt cleans up all the mess left from nights passed on and futures gone with the wind and the rain it soothes pain which linger on frames that hold you again when time becomes your friend enter into me and shelter your thoughts with stone layers and red brick rock since i will be waiting where I always am where dawn fades slowly & dusk settles in Blue Moon [This message has been edited by Chris Goodman (edited 02-19-2000).] |

I haven't been hanging around here much lately...so I haven't read anything you've written until now. It is wonderful to see a free verse poet posting such valid, creative work. Thank you for the read and I will look forward to reading more.  dp |
