For Serena Chelsea!

You sleep
a tranquil sleep
quiet, Serene, and calm
clear minded and unperturbed.

Peacefully
you smile with
your Guardian Angel as
she protects you, with golden wings.

Innocent
sweet Sounding
soft as rose petals
more beautiful than life itself.

Serena Chelsea
You are the tune that
plays joyfully in our hearts
and there you will Dance forever.

Love
Zia Maria

I've decided to become Serena Chelsea's great aunt Sharon!

The first letter to my great niece Serena!

In the softening of a starry night
She sleeps as angels do
Haloed in a luminous light
This child in her debut

Serena, as you lay here
Dreaming newborn dreams
I’d like to introduce to you
Auntie Sharon’s poetry schemes

When you grow up a little
And skin your tender knee
Just send a digital picture
And it will get a kiss from me

And dolls, we love them don’t we?
We’ll exchange letters from them too
And though you’re far away
There’s so much that we can do

We can share our secrets
And giggle on ICQ
Serena, child of serenity,
I’m so happy to meet you.

DarkAngel~
Awwwwwwwwww!  What a lovely blessing to share with us.  Lovely poem. Congratulations!

Serena Chelsea

Such a joy.
Such a treasure.
Given to the world
in little girl measure.

Loveliest of babes
with merriment and mirth.
Adding much joy
after 34 years of family birth.

You will bring so much love
yet to be,
to the welcoming hearts
of your family.

May you gather love
with truest pleasure.
As you spread love
as a family treasure.

Dear Zia - how lovely, and a fitting gift I think - poetry - for her parents and for her as she becomes older and can read it.

Hugs to you Auntie!
