        My paper wedding band

There are some moments of warmth and joy
I saved and stored like my childhood toys.
Garnered in sly and secret stealth,
Cached them away like hidden wealth.

Effects, full of embellished cherish,
Like candy and cake that I so relish.
Moments and feelings from past exposure,
Laughter and tears of secret enclosure.

Voices and faces on memories part,
All the sensations that warmed my heart.
I scribbled in verse and rhyme with pleasure,
Writing them down in pen and inks measure.

Under lock and key they lie in state,
Under lock and key they lie in wait.
They hold the facts of significant things.
The chimes I heard of meaningful rings.

And with this paper wedding band,
I give to thee, my understand.

I would love to open this treasure box
The one that's under keys and locks
And witness all of the wonderful things
And pleasures that your childhood brings
It is a box of wealth for sure
To contain the past of a character so pure

Sy this was beautiful precious memories and dreams.  I like a sensitive guy!!

May the world hug you today,
With it's warmth and love.
I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart,
That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world,
Wishing you well and
wishing you love......

Surely another true Sy.
I can read and read and read
I will always find new words or styles in your poetry. Never the same.
Amazing.

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.
