They know where I am!

Slinky

I start
at the top
of the stairs
each step
a ripple
of desire
one by one
I expand
and contract
reaching
ever closer
to my destiny.
You raced
on by me
to the floor
below
where slinking
slowly
I reach you
only
for you
to carry
me back
up
to the top
of the stairs
so I can
entertain
your senses
with my only
present
Slinky talent.

I read this poem about a slinky
And now I want to play, I thinky
I'll tie a string around my pinky
To remember to go out and buy a slinky
Loved this!
And I love slinkys!
