The "Happy" topic for the day is

"Lying on your back in a snowy field,
making an angel by moving your arms in arcs."

I have just composed this poem, but you'll all have to come around to my place to see it -- I haven't figured out a way to move it onto the screen from my front yard.

Hurry on over . . . before the weather warms up.

          Ted

Ok..I can almost SEE the angel!

Angel's wings in the snow
taking flight to heaven
lying here you would think
I've regressed to the age of seven!

While lying there
on my back I watch
the snowflakes fall
Stick out my tongue
and catch me one
Oh, the taste of it all!

I did this, Ted!
For the first time ever
at 30 years of age
with my kids in the front yard
just last month
in our freakish snow storm
(down south, wouldn't ya know).
Exhillerating!
Once I figured a method for removing myself
from the angel art on the ground,
found it sheer delightful to "plop" in the snow
for another go at it!

It is fun, especially when you're doing it for your kid who's never seen it done before.  (They say if you get to the age of 50 without growing up, you don't have to.  Congratulate me, I made it!)

Well, Ted... I'm smilin'

I'm doing my best to figure out how to get that angel posted here - if I can't do it, can I just go make my own???
