Do you remember when
I told you about
someplace special to me,
about the only place
I knew I could go
to express my true feelings?

Do you remember when
I said it meant
the world to me?
That even though no one
know who I am,
they still care about me?

Do you remember when
I showed you my special place
when I gave you
the key to my feelings,
and trusted you to see them,
but not to interfere?

Do you remember when
you knocked down the walls of this place,
so that they landed on top of me?
Or how you've wreaked havoc
on my emotions?
You've destroyed my sanctuary...

Kristi,
this place has been my sanctuary and I hope that your able to find the same peace of mind here that you once knew.
This is sad but very nicely worded.
Thank you for sharing and I hope things get better for you

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.
And the begining of a new one.

I hope so, too.  This is the one place I was able to go to speak my mind, my true feelings...  I hope it gets better...  Thank you for your response.

How terrible you must feel ... but tomorrow brings another day ... and you've already found the secret entrance to passions

Thanks much for your reply, Rex.  It means a lot, and Passions seems to be what he wants to destroy for me, but I won't let that happen... I love it here, and being able to say exactly how I feel without being criticized means a lot.  Thank you all.

This is well written.  I have read some of your peoms in Teen Poetry and have enjoyed them also.
Though some of your poems are sad, they are expressed well and show your emotion.
Nice work!
Danny
