I Danced

I danced until the rainbow faded
failing to see the rain as it fell.

I danced feeling I was invincible
until the floor became unlevel.

I danced with illusions of mind
carefully crafted and played upon.

I danced a whole evening away
forgetting to research the stars.

I danced alone with myself
until realities light opened my eyes.

Wow, that is beautiful.
The best form of escapism is that which needs no stimulent...just purity and beauty.
