Who Am I?

I occupy
this body
that walks,
talks,
and used to act
like someone
I knew.
I still occupy
this body
but I don't know
who's walking,
I don't know
who's talking,
and,
I don't know
who's acting
like someone
I never met.

Ahhh Dreamer. I can relate to this piece! There are times in our lives when we seem to lose ourselves. It is in the search to find us back that we gain strength. Wonderful poem and well written.

Gloria...at times we all go through periods where we do not know ourselves. I've been there too my friend. If it is any consulation...I only see the sweet caring person I've always seen in you.
