I wander through the longest halls
Staring blindly at covered walls
Crimson tide oozes from cracks
Whip stripes on dozens of backs

A light shines near the tunnel end
I can almost see it around the bend
Then in my path the Demon appears
I stand tall and show no fear

I've fought this one a time or two
We both were young and life was new
I beat him then and shall again
I'll escape once more his feted pen

Stronger I have grown over the years
He'll no longer feed my deepest fears
This time I know all his plans
But I hold the ace in my hands

To this Demon I'm no longer prone
I no longer walk the night alone
Strong yet gentle as the dove
Empower I am by Love

I don't know what your "Demon" may be, but I too have "Demons" in my life that Love and only Love has helped me to overcome.

Wooo, we all have to face our demons sooner or later. Glad to see you taking charge of the situation. Empowered by love, indeed, there is no greater strength than that.

I know about that demon all to well as Im still fighting one today.
Love,support and a higher power are what help`s me to keep the demon away.
Im glad that you`ve been able to defeat your`s

I am glad that you have fought your demon and conquered it.
I am still battling mine and it gives me hope to know that someone has succeeded as I long to do.
