You took my hand and helped me see
the world as it blossomed reverently.
The raging wind once born within
has subsided now so valiantly.

The sun as it rises, the moon while at sleep,
are more lovely now, as your company I keep.
No worries I hide nor do I keep inside
the feelings I've found for you down deep.

For trust is the key to unlocking the door
of my heart, which I thought would know love no more.
The hollow, cold spaces and unfriendly places
inside me have changed without chore.

All things, my love, with you  are first sight.
'Tis the first time I've ever felt love feel so right.
I cherrish you now and I make this my vow
to be worth all the wait and the fight.

Thank you SEA.
I remember well what this feels like, too,
and I was drawing from memories of the past.
Hopefully this feeling will land upon me
once again one day.
Still a lovely memory.
Glad you enjoyed!

Yes, just another piece
of a heart trying to surface.
Love the smiling memories!
Thanks, but he never did get it-
the poem.
But personally, is still a great remembrance.

Hi January Flowers,

I love the name you chose and I love this poem. It feels so nice to have that feeling of security does'nt it. Every body needs to read this poem and remember that even though they are having problems now that does not mean they can not find true love in the furture. Would you not agree.

Thank you,
Cerenity-1

Liked this piece, and especially admire how you've managed this challenging rhyme scheme...very nicely done. (o:

Thanks everyone!
It is nice to step "outside" current emotions
and recall what once made me so very complete.
I appreciate all of your inspiring replies!

How sweet the sound ringing in my ear
Your poem speaks words I like to hear
So sweetly done in such nice way
Thank you I just had to say

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.
