As anger sits in fester, hate grows each day Held down deep inside you It will not go away You can not see the warnings You can not read the script If not for you, adorning you, you would hardly move your lips Woe is me, you say, "No One takes Your Pain away" Apparitions haunt you, reality takes you for a ride As you walk away in silence With hurt written on your pride Finding it unbearable, you can hardly breath No one to console you in your time of need No healing hands to comfort you Only in a masquerade Beware the soul inside of you, will be slowly swept away Faces change, chameleons all On cellophane wings they fly What is left inside you Is but the fester you denied © tori 2000 If with pen in hand I've made you think I've not wasted one drop of ink Vlh. visit my site~ http://www.hsanet.net/user/dkm/hellomy.htm |

This is really good writing, Tori! I must admit, though, the title... it made me think of "uncle fester" from, umm, the Addam's Family! That alone, got a smile out of me. With the silliness out of the way, I was able to really enjoy this piece. Very strong emotion here. |

Tori, I have experienced festering hate and more than once, twice, three.... times I have gone there over the same things not learning my lessons. Thank you for your poem I will remember it every time I am on one of those rides. P.S. Beautiful web site Cerenity |
