In the space between moments

The sunlight is brushed damask,
As moonlight begins to weep.
In whispy memories I bask,
And with daphodils I sleep.
Only for gentle solace I ask,
Warm wishes I breathe so deep.

With the giant oaks I dance,
Entwined among their harmonies.
In fragile reverie we prance,
My tanned limbed lovers and me.
Reality's harm I will not chance,
When instead, here I can be.

The kiss of the wind I adore,
A serene touch from up above.
My dreams very lightly soar,
Carried upon wings of a dove.
My thoughts I can safely store,
And here I can embrace our love.

This is my favorite stanza...though all of them are incredible...

Not only can you write...but you can RHYME too...I can't seem to master that...

Lovely...lovely....(I really liked the tan limbed lovers...*sighs happily*)

Krista:

Simply beautiful.  Wow. Every time I read a piece by you, it always gets better.  Up until now, I thought that "I am like the unicorn," was the best piece by you, but, wow, I am pleased to say that Moonlit Solace
is just amazing. I re-read it three times before I replied, it is just that good. Girl, you have an awesome talent.  This poem is brought to life beautifully with your imaginative words. You go girl!  Love this!  I printed out a copy for myself.  I rarely print out anything, but I had to print this out.  Why can't I write more like you?

P.S. I am like the unicorn still rocks too,
and to everyone, you must go to passions in prose and read it(it's from a few weeks ago), you won't be dissapointed!

Take care,

Krista, you've written yet another incredible poem for everyone here!  You never cease to amaze me with your talent, my friend.

"As moonlight begins to weep"

I loved that line, Krista, just struck me.
Wonderful poetry yet again, you never disapoint!

Krista...

You never quit amazing me.  I love reading your poetry, and I loved this one as well.

"My dreams very lightly soar" is my favorite line... probably because I am a full time dreamer... Lovely poem, I look forward to reading your next.

Krista, this settles it. You are not a kid. You are a 45 year old midget!...either that or your are wise beyond your years. Great writing!!

Well Krista for a 16 year old girl, this was awesome, sensitive, great imagery.  I loved this it was beautiful, I felt it all with you.
Well Done!!

May the world hug you today,
With it's warmth and love.
I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart,
That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world,
Wishing you well and
wishing you love......
