Like the sun glistens on the morning dew,
you make me shine in wondrous radiance.

Like water and sun to the vegetation of the earth,
you are the sustenance of my being.

Like the pulp of a thriving young tree,
you are the substance of my soul.

Without you, I have been alive;
with you, I am learning to live.

Freckles,
It sound`s like you`ve found a life long friend?
Im not sure what was worse for me,being alive on my own or learning to live the life of another.
Anyway,very nicely written.
Thank you for the read

 Today is the first day of the rest of my life.
And the begining of a new one.

This is very very nice - and very touching.
